On the South side is a shipping container yard that goes to Anaheim St., and on the North is the residential neighborhood this property is on the edge of, see pictures. Parking is available right in front of, or close by, the cottage. Close to downtown Wilmington, which is between Long Beach and San Pedro on the port waterfront. Some pets allowed for reasonable pet rent, please enquire. Coin laundry nearby, laundry and cleaning service available.

I’m using this space to I’m using this space to recommend sightseeing and restaurants. I will describe things to the South in Long Beach, then points North: In Long Beach, visit Pine Avenue and walk the 5 or so blocks inland from Ocean Blvd. This is a lively restaurant and shopping area. I like Cafe Sevilla for Spanish food, try the tapa or appetizer size black squid ink paella. BoBeau is also good. The Aquarium of the Pacific and Queen Mary ship are close to Pine downtown on the ocean side of Ocean Blvd. Continue South on scenic Ocean Blvd. You will pass the Long Beach Museum of Art. Stop near there and enjoy Bluff Park. Just offshore you will see a couple of islands with towers and waterfalls designed by noted modern architect Ed Killingsworth. These hide oil drilling rigs. From there, if you want to go to the beach, keep to the right on Ocean to go to Belmont Shore. For walking and dining, keep left at the fork at Livingston which turns into 2nd St. Park and walk here, the beach is not far away. I suggest a nice restaurant called Roe Seafood at the South end. They have a fish market next door on the corner with a fish market with tables where you can eat fresh grilled fish tacos, smoked fish, oysters, and clam chowder at reasonable prices. Heading North from Wilmington, you can take Anaheim St. or Harry Bridges Blvd. to nearby San Pedro. First you will see the USS Iowa Battleship Museum. You can continue to the Cabrillo Aquarium, then Point Fermin Lighthouse at Point Fermin Park at the edge of cliffs. Continue up the coast on Palos Verdes Drive to the beautiful Wayfarer’s Chapel. You can keep going around the scenic Palos Verdes peninsula and then continue on to South Bay Beaches, or cut back on the freeway to get back home.
