Located on a quiet, tree-lined street, this condo is a short walk from some of the capital's most iconic nightlife, outdoor patios, and top-notch brunch spots. The nearby Shaw metro makes going to the National Mall, monuments, and museums very easy. The Shaw metro station is a 10 minute walk away. In general, the neighborhood is very walkable and Uber’s and Lyft’s are also plentiful and a great travel option. Parking: There is free 2 hour parking in front of the home during the daytime, and at night parking is free from 6:30PM until 9AM the next morning. Weekend guests can park for free on the street from 6:30PM on Friday until 9AM on Monday. For dedicated parking spots with guaranteed availability, we recommend a parking app like SpotHero (also available on the web). It helps you find close parking spaces at discounted prices in garages or surface lots. We want to inform you that Washington, DC, like many urban areas, experiences occasional rodent activity. While we are taking proactive measures, such as setting traps and using safe poisons, you might still encounter them during your stay. The floor upstairs is original and has the potential to be squeaky.
