Stephen and Ivan District Cottage • Self check-in with Yale smart locks after 4:00 PM. • If you arrive early and need to drop off your luggage, please feel free to stop by our home after 12:00 PM. Guests can move between Units A and B without stepping outside through the interior foyer. Check-in: Smart locks will automatically grant access at 4:00 PM. Check-out: Smart locks will automatically revoke access at 11:00 AM. I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. Our home offers a self check-in/check-out process. You'll receive detailed instructions five days before your arrival, and on the night before your departure. If you have any questions during your stay, we are only a message away! Fun area of DC. In Washington’s U Street corridor, you’ll find tons of history—from Civil War to jazz legends—with lots of shopping, dining, and nightlife. Close Metro (subway) access or quick Uber/Lyft/Taxi to all the DC has to offer. A brand new Whole Foods is steps away! - Parking Two free private parking spaces are available to guests. Instructions will be provided before check-in. - Metro 10-minute walk to the U Street or Columbia Heights Metro stations. 10-minute ride down to the National Monuments or 15-minutes to DCA airport - Uber/Lyft/Taxi Get picked up within minutes right in front of the house • Please note that DC has a city wide rat problem. During summer months, they will be out and about minding their own business on the streets throughout DC. We are doing our best to control them since our local government’s response has been lacking. • This is our primary home. We've locked some rooms, doors, and drawers to secure our personal belongings, but the rest of the house is yours to enjoy! • We take great pride in keeping our home sparkling clean, and we appreciate your help maintaining that standard during your stay.
