This is a great walking neighborhood with Audubon Park to the W and Drumheller Springs to the E. To the S is the river trail taking you E into downtown Spokane and W along the river. Glover Middle School, Shadle High School, and the Shadle Library are N. Safeway & Walmart are the anchor stores less than a mile N. Local restaurants and a few upscale and comfortable bars are close. Many young families have moved, and are moving, into the neighborhood.
