The entrance to Carkeek Park is right across the street, you can hike for a mile through the park to get to Carkeek Park Beach. Ballard is also a 5 minute (2.5 miles) drive away. Depending on your itinerary while in town, you can either rent a car or many guests rely on Uber and Lyft which are always available within minutes The home is located on a busy road so you can hear some noise in the rooms facing the road, which means the home office, living room, and master bedroom. Be very careful going up and down the stairs.
