We are in the heart of the historic district in Savannah Georgia! Your steps from the world-famous Forsyth Park! A quick walk to the Starland district, and about a 15-minute walk to the river and heart of downtown (5-minute Uber). You’re close enough to everything to be there in steps, but far enough removed to have peace when you return home for the evening. You can walk pretty much anywhere in the historic district, downtown, and The Starland district. You’re only about a 15 to 20 minute drive to North Tybee Beach. We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city! But, if riding is more your speed, Ubers are abundant and affordable and there’s a free shuttle that takes you anywhere in the historic district at the head of Forsyth Park, about four blocks away.! If you drove here, park on one of the many available on-street spots and walk or ride around Savannah. You can also secure a parking pass for the city through the visitor center. It's a great spot to start your stay by grabbing tons of information and flyers for local businesses. ** Note: Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine when parking on the street. There are signs posted on the side of the road with sweeping times. Simply move your vehicle to the opposing street to avoid a fine. Also, ensure to pay for parking using the ParkSavannah App. Simply open the app, enter the code on the parking spot found painted oin the ground, and pay.
