With 7 bedrooms, 18 beds, and 5 bathrooms, the Silver Fork Chalet is perfect for your family stay! Our mountain home is located in the Wasatch Mountains, east of Salt Lake City, UT. We are 22 miles east of Salt Lake International Airport…..13 miles up Big Cottonwood Canyon…..1 mile below Solitude Ski Resort…..3 miles below Brighton Ski Resort. You’ll enjoy deep, white fluffy snow in winter, lush greens exploding in spring, cool temperatures and clean air in summer and a color palette of golds and reds in autumn. Two full sized cars or three small cars fit in the garage. A concrete driveway will allow for 5 additional cars. The reverse floor plan allows you to live amongst the 100 ft. tall pines and quakies and enjoy the scenery from all angles. Our wheel chair lift makes easy entry for everyone. Loading and unloading luggage and supplies are simple. Mornings on the wrap around deck, with a warm beverage, are heavenly. You can cook or BBQ for your family in our well-stocked kitchen or enjoy world class dining in some nearby historic and scenic restaurants. Enjoy staying connected with high speed, fiber optic internet. Two upstairs living rooms and a sitting area in the bunk room make it easy for kids and adults to spread out and find their happy places. Home pods are scattered throughout the cabin and Siri will help you find the music you desire. Six bedrooms, a large bunk room and a sofa bed means there is room for everyone to sleep comfortably. There are five bathrooms in all. One has a rain shower head and soaking tub, another allows for warmth and relaxation in the steam shower. The bunk room bathroom has ultimate privacy with a separate toilet room, shower room, and vanity room. There are two laundry rooms to help keep things fresh and dry. Bad weather? No worries! Move the cars and the finished garage, with its gas fireplace, front and back overhead doors, create an extra protected “outdoor” gathering place. The private hot tub sits 8 and soothes sore muscles from all of your daytime fun. There is no time for boredom when you are supplied with scooters, snowshoes, board games, card games, video games, deck swings, art supplies, bird watching and feeding, picnics, hot dog and marshmallow roasting, movie watching, snuggles by the fire, forest walks and puzzle building. For the more adventurous, within 1-3 miles, you can find seasonal fun. Winter provides: world class skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, sledding and snowman building. When the snow has melted, you’ll find: mountain biking, Frisbee golf, hikes, fishing, movies on the mountain, Sunday flea market and off road exploring. Stay alert, as you might spy, from a safe distance, a few moose or a small herd of deer. A Pack ‘n Play crib and high chair are available upon request. If that’s not enough, let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to make it happen. Children are welcome and the cabin sleeps 30+. However, Brighton regulations state that we allow a maximum of 15 adults. Large groups please inquire before reserving. The entire property.
