Our guests love the extended stay option and use the property as a home base when escaping cold winters, when in town for work, or when buying or selling real estate. Our bright orange doors have been featured on the cover of Sunset Magazine and in many other publications. This property is features classic mid-century modern architecture and is a highlight to any stay in Palm Springs.

We have been renting The Amado for a fun-filled eight years and are very proud of our 1000+ five star reviews from guests we've hosted from all over the world!! Our reviews rave about the phenomenal mid-century modern architecture, the highly curated design, attention to detail, quality amenities, convenient location and friendly management. We'd love to host you as well! The building was originally designed as an apartment complex so each unit is fully self-contained with a full kitchen, dining room, living room, king bedroom and private bath. Each suite opens to the communal pool, BBQ , fire pit and laundry area open to all of our friendly guests 24/7. We offer a variety of amenities to help you enjoy your stay. All towels and linens are provided as well as Malin & Goetz shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A mailbox key may be provided for extended stays. All utilities +1 GB internet + HULU + LIVE TV are included. We are proud to be enrolled in the Desert Community Energy Program which allows us to source our electricity from solar, wind, and hydropower and provide our guests with 100% carbon-free energy! One bedroom: Units 1-4 are one-bedroom suites and boast an airy 600-square foot floor plan including kitchen, dining room, living room, large bedroom, and bathroom featuring colorful & original 1950's tile. Each suite has a king-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room for extra flexibility. There is a large Samsung Smart TV in each living room and a wireless BlueTooth speaker for music. Two bedroom: Unit 5 is a two-bedroom is an 850-square foot suite offering both a king and queen size bed as well as a queen-size sleeper sofa, an original functioning gas fireplace from 1955, a full-size kitchen, wall to wall windows overlooking the pool, a private patio, and a large Samsung Smart TV.
