The fully remodeled kitchen boasts Alder wood custom cabinets, rich granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances to make meal prep a breeze. The family room offers a wall of glass with two glass sliders that open to the private pool and spa. Plus, a Smart TV and the second cozy fireplace. And any downtime can be spent relaxing on the modern furnishings that overlook the pool. A sunbrella canvas covered patio looks over the sparkling pool/spa and beautifully landscaped private yard. This home is just north of the Palm Springs International Airport and sits in a great location to experience the best of this desert city. Heading into the hustle and bustle of downtown Palm Springs will be a breeze, as it is just 2.5 miles from your front door. For a bit of hiking, wake up early and beat the heat at Tahquitz Canyon four miles away. Not to mention, the shopping, golfing, and restaurants in town will fill afternoons with fun and tasty bites! **THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE** Occupancy Limits: - Overnight: 6 - Daytime: 10 Parking available is limited to (1) car per bedroom = 3 cars max ENTERTAINMENT: *5 Smart TVs in the Kitchen, the Living Room, the Master Bedroom, and the Guest Bedrooms where you can access Netflix and Hulu. DVD player and Video Library also available. Guests have to log into their personal streaming account. Please don’t forget to log out of your account at the end of your stay *Wireless Internet Service is provided throughout the house. *SONOS Stereo speakers with music library in all rooms of the house except the bathrooms. Please stay within the noise ordinance to avoid fines. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music, TV, talk, coming from inside of the home). If your neighbors can hear music, you are in violation of the City Ordinance. *Guests will also have access to Games, Books, and Toys for more entertainment during your stay! Use fire pits with extreme caution. Keep all children away from the fire pits and fire. NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes at any time. NO smoking allowed inside or outside the house. NO glass outside. The garage will fit 2 midsize cars, or one large SUV/truck. Driveway is able to fit 2-3 cars. *Never block any driveway or street access. *Street parking NOT permitted The City of Palm Springs has resumed in-person meet and greets pursuant to PSMC 5.25.070(m). “The Owner or the Owner’s agent or representative shall meet the Responsible Party in person at the Vacation Rental or the Owner’s or Owner’s agent’s office prior to, or within twenty-four (24) hours of, the commencement of the occupancy and verbally explain and describe all rules and regulations applicable to the use of the property as a Vacation Rental and the responsibilities of the Responsible Party to the neighbors and the City as well as the Owner. The Owner shall secure the signature of the Responsible Party and all adult guests to a statement of rules and regulations …” Whether it’s a round of golf in the winter or a massage at a first-class spa resort, Palm Springs is the place to enjoy life. Often described as a small city with the cultural amenities of an urban area, the shopping, entertainment, dining and recreational opportunities are first-class. If you have a bike, you could bike to downtown in roughly 15 minutes. Local restaurants and a super market are less than 10 minutes drive. There's also a local Palm Springs shuttle, which is free (you can find more info online) Home Truths: *The pool can get dirty very quickly at times due to desert weather. We'll do our best to get the pool company out there as soon as possible. *The pool is not very deep and is not meant for diving. Please, watch your children closely in the pool, and swim at your own risk. Never let children unattended in the pool area. *It can be very windy in the area, umbrellas MUST be removed from stands when not in use or when windy. If umbrellas are broken due to wind damage, guests will be charged a replacement fee. *Cleaning supplies can be in places that are easily accessed by children. Please take caution. *Backyard is close to neighbors so staying within noise ordinance is very important! *The home is near the airport path so noise can be heard at times. *There is a RING front gate camera, a RING front door camera, a RING yard entrance camera Any fines, citations or penalties imposed against us for actions triggering a violation of the City of Palm Springs will be deducted from the security deposit. Such examples can be found in our House Rules. In the City of Palm Springs, Occupant must be at least 25 years of age or older. By continuing with this reservation, Occupant represents that they are older than 25 years of age and further warrants that other occupants are either over the age of 25 or are accompanied by an adult guardian. NOISE: Palm Springs has strict ordinances that govern vacation rentals. In particular, we want you to note that "NO outside music is allowed at vacation rental homes." I know, we all love our tunes out by the pool, but it's just not allowed by law. Music may not be heard at the property lines at any time of the day (that includes music coming from inside the home). Please abide by this rule so you don't get fined by the police, and so we don't lose our vacation rental permit. Pool Heating and Spa (if applicable to this property): *Pool heating can be hired for the whole stay: $150 for the first day then $100/day thereafter. Please inquire about extra fees if booking long (28+ night) stays; *Pool heating when hired is limited to 84F; *Pool does not need to be heated during the Summer months (June-August) it’s usually 80F+ naturally; *Hosts will not be able to provide any refunds for occasional non-working pool heating that occur during your stay but we will do our best to have it solved in a timely manner. *Spa/Jacuzzi when available, its heating is included and initiated on-demand by the guest onsite. Guests will be charged the TOT and TBID taxes.
