Homestead House perfect place for family friends to meet relax gather

FYI we had some complaints about the mattresses and have purchased all new extremely comfortable mattresses for all the rooms! 

Enjoy your stay while in Lubbock and at  Homestead House ..YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME. This three bedroom  house  has comfortable mattresses on beds for your  full comfort …, two full bathrooms  .(.FYI .**PULL the  round lever down  under faucets to activate the showers .**) . This brick home sleeps up to 6 people. there two queen beds, two twin beds, and two twin air mattresses there’s enough room for everyone. This home is located in the Shadow Hills public golf course division and also features a double garage (with door openers), a gas fireplace, and a large backyard with covered patio & grill. It’s in a great location and close to two universities, two shopping centers (South Plains Mall and the new West End Mall many restaurants, two teaching hospitals, Civic Center, Home of Buddy Holly, American Windmill Museum, Bayer Museum of Agriculture, and Silent Wings Museum

Also nearby is the beautiful Palo Dura Canyon, the second largest Canyon in the United States where you can see Texas, an outdoor musical and historical drama. Other cultural activities to enjoy in Lubbock include: Moonlight Musicals, Moonlight Broadway, the historical Cactus Theatre for live music and theater entertainment, and the always fun Stars and Stripes Drive-In with 3 screens. 

There are multiple wineries in the city you can visit...85% of Texas wineries have grapes are grown locally! Number 1 brewery in the country 

There are lots of nearby lakes for water skiing, fishing and camping, including Buffalo Lake, Ranson Canyon Lake, and Lake Alan Henry.

Consider visiting Lubbock Lake National Historic Landmark, a unique archeological site that has a complete record of nearly 12,000 years of human history located in one place. Another interesting place to visit is the National Ranching Heritage Center, a museum of ranching history, located on the campus of Texas Tech University.

If you have kids, don't miss Prairie Dog Town, located in Mackenzie Park, and the Science Spectrum Museum. The new Adventure  Park with Zip Line. Joyland  Amusement Park.
