The Birch Ridge at Killington

Take over the Inn! The Birch Ridge is available for your group or family to rent as one entire ski lodge, offering a truly private Killington experience. The inn sleeps up to 28 guests across 11 rooms, all with ensuite bathrooms, with some rooms featuring gas fireplaces and jacuzzi tubs. Most rooms offer a king or queen bed, along with two family rooms that include queen beds and twin over full bunk beds, plus a two level loft suite with a queen bed, sofa bed, and kitchenette. In addition to the guest rooms, you will have full use of the house, including a beautifully renovated A frame Great Room with lounge and bar, a dining room with a pool table, a large entryway and sitting area with games and a flat screen TV, and one additional half bathroom. The commercial kitchen is available for guest use, or you may hire a private chef who can take over the kitchen and dining room for your stay. Located right on the main road in Killington, the inn is just 1.6 miles from the base area, with an easy walk to Sunup Bakery for breakfast or The Wobbly Barn for dinner and nightlife, and you can even catch the mountain shuttle right on the main road. The charming covered carriageway adds to the Vermont character and doubles as sheltered parking during snowstorms. After a day on the slopes, relax in the outdoor hot tub, perfect for soaking tired muscles. During the spring, summer, and fall, our tented event space next to the property is available to rent separately and includes tables and chairs, and the outdoor patio in front of the Great Room is a great place to unwind around one of our fire tables. You will not forget your stay at The Birch Ridge.

The Birch Ridge common areas were renovated in Winter 2023 and feature an amazing A-frame Great Room with full bar area, 12' shuffleboard table, coffee station with Keurig machines, microwave, water cooler, beautiful gas fireplace, streaming TV, receiver with surround speakers, high-top tables, comfy sofas, swivel chairs and bar stools. There's plenty of room for your entire group to gather together after a day on the slopes and create your own bar scene! The entryway is the perfect place to take off your boots and hang your coats, while our outside ski storage provides a safe spot to store your gear. The sitting area provides another small gathering place with streaming TV and games, plus a half bathroom. An elevator provides accessible access to the second floor should you need it (key required). Behind the bar, you have a True bar back refrigerator with lots of room for beverages or snacks, second beverage cooler, dishwasher (coming soon), bar sink, wash basin and glassware. You can also get all the ice you need from our commercial ice machine. Outside is our new patio complete with lots of outdoor seating, fire tables and gorgeous mountain views.

The dining room in the second A-frame structure features tables and chairs with seating for 20, plus a pool table, 75' smart TV and sofa. Head out the door to the front patio, and you'll find one of the two hot tubs along with a gas barbecue grill. The full commercial kitchen at the back of the dining room is available to guests. Due to the commercial setup of the kitchen we request that guests confirm use of that area with us before booking and sign a waiver for its use.

We have gigabit Wifi through the property with a mesh network that provides a strong signal everywhere. The common ares also feature Synexis devices which fights viruses, bacteria, mold and odors using an innovative dry hydrogen peroxide technology. Our parking lot is large and will accommodate around 20 cars. The carriageway (covered bridge) up to the property may be used to park cars inside during snowstorms to keep them snow free. We also have a side road up to the property for larger vehicles. We have two EV chargers onsite.

The property is not staffed. We will clean prior to your arrival and after your departure. Access codes to our smart locks for contactless check in and check out will be provided.

Next to the property is our large tented event space with tables and chairs. This area is available in the spring, summer and fall for an additional rental fee. Please note that a separate event fee applies for any events to be held on property - whether in the event tent or inside the property. Any such events must be disclosed and agreed upon in advance of booking.

All rooms include smart TVs (Samsung or Fire TV), streaming services, gear storage, boot/gear dryers, Alexa devices, power banks and strong WiFi.

Room 5 is our only two-floor loft suite that also features a kitchenette with peninsula, two-burner electric cooktop, mini fridge, microwave, sink, dishwasher, dinnerware, glassware, cups, cookware, and utensils. This unit features a sliding door out to a private patio (summer only) as well.

• Our minimum rental age is 25.
• An event fee will apply to any special events held at the property and must be disclosed and agreed upon prior to booking. The tented event space is available for a separate rental fee in the spring, summer and fall.
• We will provide you with door codes for our smart locks for contactless check in and out. There are smart locks on the main door and all room doors.
• We have some flexibility around our standard check in and check out times depending on other bookings. Guaranteed early check in or late check out may be available for an additional charge.
• Our entire property is non-smoking (e-cigs included). You may only smoke outside and 75-feet away from the building. There is a $1500 fine for smoking in the property.
• You must e-sign and return our written rental agreement after you complete your booking.
• For your safety and ours, we have cameras on the outside of the property, in the common entryway and in the common hallways of the property. There are no cameras in any living areas.
• Fireworks are not permitted.
• Pets are not allowed. There will be a $1500 fine for any unauthorized pets.
• Pack 'n plays and high chairs available upon request. (Please let us know in advance.)
• All rooms have portable or mini-split AC units in the summer.
• Please be advised that this property utilizes ladders to access the bunk beds. By renting this property, you are agreeing to hold the owner and property manager harmless for any injury or death that is resulting from the use of the ladders or bunk beds.
• The hot tubs are included for the peak ski season (late-December to mid-March). For other periods, there is an optional $195 set up fee per hot tub. You understand use of hot tub is at your own risk and that special risks may be involved in using the hot tub. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from use of the hot tub, and hold owner and property manager harmless.
• Winter weather is unpredictable. We do not offer weather-related refunds and recommend purchasing travel insurance for any unforeseen events. All wheel drive and winter tires are also recommended.
