Bring your boat or rent our Pontoon boat. Enjoy fishing right outside your front door. Enjoy a beautiful sunset with your family around the firepit. Our fully stocked home is ready for your arrival. All reservations placed on or after May 18th, 2026, include Kayaks, Paddle Boards, Pedal Boat, and Canoe! Waiver of liability must be signed to have them unlocked for your stay. This promotion does not apply for last-minute reservations with stays dates of 30 days or less before the checkin date. For these reservations, the normal rental rates apply. Off the beaten path but still fairly close to restaurants and amenities! Christy’s Cottage is a beautiful custom log home built by the Amish. The house consists of a fully functioning kitchen, two living rooms, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, loft area, laundry room, and game room. Outside, enjoy our grill and patio seating and/or the firepit near the lake. The property also contains a private dock with a slide and rock-climbing wall. Here you can enjoy swimming, fishing, and other exciting aquatic activities! In the winter we can include a heated ice-fishing shanty, only available upon request! The kitchen is equipped with one electric stove and oven, microwave, dishwasher, a fridge with freezer, blender, toaster, and electric griddle. We provide basic kitchen needs, disposable items, and some spices. We love coffee, and know you probably do, too. We have a coffee maker, and provide coffee, filters, sugar and cream, and teas. The tap water is drinkable as it comes from a well. The exit from the kitchen takes you directly to the grill area. The grill can be used with coal or propane (we provide both). The main living room offers comfortable recliner couches facing the wonderful Ashley Lake. This room connects with the kitchen, master room, and stairs. It also provides an exit to the deck, where the grill is located. In the downstairs living room, you will find a couch, blankets, TV and DVD player, the perfect spot for family movie night! Here you will also find the nearest door to the lake. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, a TV with DVD player, ceiling fan, lamp, dresser, and vanity. You can enjoy beautiful sunrises a few steps away from your bed, since the master room has access to the deck, and to its own bathroom. The two rooms downstairs each have a queen-sized bed, lamps, one dresser, and closet. All rooms have a laundry basket, and the bedding is properly changed and cleaned. If you are planning for a long stay, we will leave an extra set of sheets. A sliding door separates the master bedroom from its own bathroom, which has a shower and a small closet. The downstairs bathroom has both a shower and a tub and connects to the laundry room. Both bathrooms are fully stocked for your basic needs, including toiletries like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, Q-Tips, etc. We also provide a hair dryer, and beach towels, four in each bathroom, in addition to bathroom towels. In the loft area you will find a couch with a majestic view of the lake. Here, you will also find a bunk bed and one air mattress, kept in a trunk and complete with a set of sheets. The laundry room includes a washing machine and a dryer, both functional and ready to use. We provide detergent, softener, and dryer sheets. Here you will also find a fire extinguisher, a first-aid kit, and different sizes of life vests. Cleaning supplies (broom, mop, vacuum) and a basic toolbox will also be here. We have a game room for your and your children’s enjoyment! Available for your use will be table games for all ages and a foosball table. Both TVs are connected to Dish and the DVD player downstairs has Netflix. There is WiFi throughout the house, for which you will find the password in the kitchen. Around the house you will also find landline phones. Outside, you can enjoy memorable moments in our fireplace, right in front of the lake. Six chairs and sometimes wooden logs are provided, so you can start having fun! Enjoy fishing from the comfort of our dock. During the winter we can include an ice fishing shanty if requested. We will have it all set up for fishing during your winter stay! It will include a propane heater, 2 ice fishing poles, two ice augers (1 gas and 1 manual auger), two chairs, and a tackle box. Everything you need for ice fishing 🔹 Rules 🔹 ✔️ Must be at least 18 years of age to book ✔️ Guests not listed at time of booking are NOT permitted on premises. ✔️ Remove your shoes inside the house. ✔️ The storage closet downstairs and the small cabin are off limits ✔️ Do not use white towels to remove make-up. We provide black clothes and make-up removal pads for this. ✔️ Only open screened windows. ✔️ Replace all furniture to their original place before you check-out, we will charge extra if we have to move furniture ✔️ Reconnect all electronic devices before you check-out, we will charge extra if we have to do this ✔️ Please hang Life Jackets after use ✔️ You will be charged extra fees for stained linens/towels, excessive cleaning, broken items, or any damage that’s been done to anything in the house, or to the house itself. You will have until 12am after check-in to report any pre-existing damages. Any damages or missing items not reported within this time period will be charged to your card on file after check-out. ✔️ Unapproved guests and pets will result in a penalty Fee of 300/pet and 250/guest plus 50 for each night unapproved guests or pets stayed at the house ✔️ Do not have packages shipped to our address ✔️ Follow Ashley Lake's 200ft No Wake Zone Rule ✔️ Please be respectful to the neighbors. Watercraft and Water Toys For your convenience and full enjoyment of the lake, we offer kayaks, paddle boards, a pedal boat, a canoe, along with various inflatable toys with the house for reservations placed after May 18th, 2026. This promotion does not apply to last-minute reservation (reservations placed 30 days or less before the check-in date). The normal rental prices will apply for these reservations. We also offer the option for you to rent a large pontoon boat. Pontoon has a capacity for 12 people. Just ask us about our pontoon boat packages if you are interested in renting it for your stay. An air pump will be downstairs on the built-in cabinets along the wall as you are heading out the door. We also offer life vests in different sizes at no additional cost. Ice Fishing An ice fishing shanty is available upon request only, and we will have it all set up for fishing during your winter stay! It will include a propane heater, 2 ice fishing poles, two ice augers (1 gas and 1 manual auger), two chairs, and a tackle box. Everything you need for ice fishing. We will cut the ice with the auger initially before you arrive. You will have to re-cut the hole during your stay as the ice refreezes. If you want to use live bait, you can buy that at the gas station off HWY 2 on your way up to Ashley Lake. This will be available when the lake freezes, which varies, but is usually between mid-January to the beginning of March. The Area Glacier National Park Glacier is only 50 miles away. This is a must see! One of the most beautiful National Parks out there with numerous hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and everything wild Montana has to offer. I would recommend reserving your tickets into the park in advance. The last couple years, the park had to limit the amount of people entering into the park before 3pm. Summer Activities The activities in the summer here in the area are limitless. This includes, but not limited to, hiking, biking, fishing, camping, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, boating, swimming, and multiple national and state parks. If you are planning a trip to the famous Glacier National Park, there are many other exciting activities along the way. Everything from ziplines, hot air balloons, helicopter rides, mazes, and much more. I would highly recommend checking out the Montana Vortex, where gravity defies the laws of physics. Also, being that the house is fairly close to Kalispell, you always could spend the day exploring, shopping, dining, and enjoying all the city has to offer. Winter Activities During winter, enjoy our house to the fullest! Stay inside and bask in the warmth from our gas stove and central heating. Enjoy movie nights with your family in the downstairs living room and make use of our game room where we have our collection of table games. If the cold does not discourage you, stand outside and contemplate a beautiful frozen lake. If you are feeling more adventurous in our winter season, you can always take the kids sledding, snowshoeing, or ice fishing on our property. We recommend caution around the lake during wintertime, as the lake gets very deep not far from shore, and you can never know how frozen the lake truly is. Nearby outdoor winter attractions, such as ski resorts and areas, include Blacktail Mountain Ski Area (1hr 21 min/44.9 miles), Whitefish Mountain Resort (1hr 5min/38.5 miles), Glacier Nordic Center (56 min/32.5 miles). There are also many areas to cross-country ski. Another famous exciting activity in the area is dog sledging. During winter, the county keeps the roads maintained, and we plow before your arrival. If needed during your stay, we plow without additional cost. Wildlife and Fishing Ashley Lake is popular for its record-breaking rainbow trout and kokanee salmon, try your luck! Some of the native wildlife you may spot during your stay include White-tailed deer, elk, moose, bobcat, Lynx, mountain lion, black bear, grizzly bear, wolverine, badger, eagles, hawks, owls, and various other smaller furry and feathered friends. There is an amazing array of differe
