Where you’ll be Neighborhood highlights I bought this house because of its insane location. A ten-minute WALK (walk!!) to the cutest and most beloved strip of restaurants and bars at the Terrace Movie Theater shopping center, and The Pour House music venue. Bar George is your new neighborhood go-to date cocktail hot spot. Crust is wonderful oven roasted pizzas and seasonal salads. Millers All Day is the cutest, most trendy breakfast all-day spot you're going to cherish on lazy Saturdays. Get your nails done at Reflections Nail studio (ask for Kent!) Groove to Motown Throwdown play after chatting up your favorite local farmer at the Pour House Farmer's Market on Sundays (visit the pickled Green Bean lady, she's the best!!) There's live music every night at The Pour House-check their calendar! The entire neighborhood is a single looped road, very family friendly (there is a band of feral hyena girls ages 5-9 you'll see in a perfume cloud scootering the loop; one can only dream of one day arriving at their level of coolness to ride alongside these pocket-sized legends.) The neighborhood backs up to the iconic Muni Golf course, so it is perfectly quiet and calm beyond the hum of Maybank highway road sounds. Cross Maybank Highway and take a stroll under the ancient Angel Oaks of Riverland Terrace (walking to the Riverland Terrace boat ramp is a lovely route.) It's about a 10 minute drive to get to MUSC and the heart of downtown, and about 14 minutes to get to Folly Beach (easy parking, just make sure to get all 4 tires OFF the road of they'll ticket--so annoying.) There's a Gold's Gym about 9 Minutes down Riverland Terrace, and about a 6-minute drive to get to James Island County Park - miles of loops for running or walking with a friend ($2/per person, or get a season pass if you're a runner!)
