Welcome to the Jefferson home. We are a couple married over 25 years. As recent empty nesters, we are making our now unused in-law suite available for lease. We have two adult children, one a college graduate preparing for grad school and another currently attending a NC university. Our rental does not allow pets as we have two friendly, playful dogs. Some of our pastimes include watching TV/movies, playing board and video games, reading, traveling, and trying new recipes. We value our privacy and will respect yours. The space you will be leasing is a fully finished walkout basement that has plenty of light and windows. Blinds/sheers are installed in the living spaces and the bedroom has blinds with blackout curtains. Multiple nightlights are provided in the main areas to help with navigating an unfamiliar space at night. The full kitchen includes all major appliances: full-sized refrigerator, sealed surface stovetop, dishwasher, and double ovens. Small appliances include microwave, toaster, toaster oven, rice cooker, bread machine, deep fryer, single-cup Keurig brewer, espresso machine, and coffee grinder. Cookware, dishware, and utensils are provided. Flooring is laminate. Full-bath with sink, storage shelf with mirror, shower stall, and linen closet. Towel sets are included. Flooring is tile. The sitting room includes a TV/Entertainment center with 43", 4K, Android TV and game consoles. Other furnishings include a coffee table, end tables, love seat, and sofa. The adjoining dining area has a table and four chairs. Flooring is laminate. Ceiling fan. A large bedroom offers a full bed with provided pillows and linens, two night tables, vanity, chest of drawers, task table, a full-length mirror, two large closets, and entertainment center with 24" HD TV, Roku streaming box, and a DVD player. Quilts, throws, and electric blanket provided. Ceiling fan. Flooring is low carpet. Basement has a full security system with keyless door entry. This system is partitioned off the main system, meaning tenants have their own codes, can arm/disarm their own space without conflict with the rest of the home, and are included in the 24/7 monitoring service at no cost. Access provided to shared washer and dryer in main house. Large storage closet next to stairway. There is no separate thermostat for this space but we will ensure temperatures are comfortable and work with tenants to adjust. A radiant heating panel in bedroom provides additional warmth if needed in cool months and portable dehumidifier is available for use as needed.
