You will absolutely fall in love with this beautiful 6,000 sf, 2-level home is located on multiple, private, over-sized Carmel-by-the-Sea lots. Steps from Carmel River Beach, the 'Love' house has been in the same family for generations and guests will feel immediately at home. Breathtaking Redwood cathedral ceilings crown this refreshingly authentic Carmel home built in the late 1920’s.
Indoor-Outdoor Living:
The expansive backyard is perfect for family gathering, outdoor recreation and entertaining. It features a very large Astro Turf lawn and patio area, BBQ and pool heated from May through September only. From the back lawn there is a view out to the Carmel River Beach. Guests have seen whales spouting from the back lawn!
Living Spaces, Kitchen:
Features include a large living room with old growth natural redwood vaulted ceilings and gas fireplace with stone surround. It has a grand piano, ample seating including a game table and chairs. Bay windows overlook the beautiful gardens, patio, and outdoor pool. The formal dining room has views of the gardens. The large, well-equipped kitchen includes a breakfast table.
Upstairs there is a cozy den with a balcony that overlooks the main level living room. The den also contains a comfortable couch and overstuffed chairs for relaxing in while watching the large flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player. Also located upstairs is a large billiards room that contains a pool table.

Bedroom #1: On the main level, the large, all redwood primary suite offers a king bed, vaulted ceilings, a large flat screen TV with cable, decorative stone fireplace with battery candles, and a dressing room.

Bedrooms #1 and #2 share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower.
Bedroom #3 has one twin daybed and doubles as an office with a desk workspace.
Bedroom #4 has two twin beds.
Bedrooms #3 and #4 share a Jack and Jill style bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination.
Upstairs:
Bedroom #5 has a queen bed and a small en-suite bathroom with a standing shower.
Additional sleeping space with queen bed.

The large 2-car garage is available to guests and two more vehicles can park in the driveway, off-street.
