Located in a Carmel Point neighborhood close to Carmel River Beach, this single-level home has everything you need to make your vacation special. Walk to the beach and happy hour at Mission Ranch. Just a short drive away are the natural wonders of Point Lobos State Reserve and Big Sur. All the restaurants, boutique shops and attractions of Carmel-by-the-Sea and the entire Monterey Peninsula are nearby. Enjoy world class golf, Car Week, Bach Festival and other events from this perfect home-away-from-home.

Living Spaces
Open concept living room with high vaulted ceiling and skylights faces the enclosed front courtyard, making a great indoor-outdoor flow. A large Smart TV with streaming options and a wood burning fireplace are part of a large wall of built-in shelves. A comfy sofa with chaise and nearby armchairs are a great place to settle in for a movie or conversation. Beautifully finished wood floors glow and area rugs further warm the space visually.
A detached bonus room is located in the backyard. It has a large wall-mounted Smart TV, a cushy sofa and ottoman as well as a desk space.
The home has several Smart features like Google TVs, remote controlled outdoor fountain, key-less entry, reliable, speedy Starlink internet and solar power with 2 Tesla power walls providing consistent power for days if a winter storm blows through the area.

Kitchen and Dining
The gourmet kitchen has stainless steel appliances including a large refrigerator, a 5 burner gas stove, a wall oven and a separate warming drawer. A large window over the sink looks out on the private, verdant back yard.

The Great Outdoors
An enclosed front yard space features multiple comfortable seating options, a fire pit and the trickling fountain will help melt away all stress.
The private back yard is completely fenced and boasts a hot tub, propane BBQ grill, a dining table and various patio seating options connected by a stone path.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 is a suite with a king bed, a twin day bed and a Smart TV viewable from either bed. The room features high ceilings, skylights, a four-poster bed and direct access to the back yard and patio with a hot tub.
The en suite bathroom has a decadent deep soaking tub with a view of the garden, a separate standing shower with smooth stones and custom tile, and two vessel sinks at the large vanity.

Bedroom #2 has a queen bed and a desk and chair.

Bedroom #3 has a twin daybed with a pull out trundle which can be made up as one or two singles. An ingenious fold-down desk with driftwood legs and a bespoke driftwood light fixture add to the beachy vibe.

The hallway bath has a standing shower and vessel sink.

A large closet near the bedrooms holds the full size washer and dryer.

Sorry, Driftwood is not a pet friendly home.

Off-street parking for 2 cars is available in the driveway. Street parking in front of the home is often available.

This vacation home is professionally managed by Property Manager. With over 15 years of property management experience, we strive to provide environments that nurture and inspire with all the comforts of home.
