Namakagon Landing

The Namakagon Landing rental home offers lodging on beautiful Lake Namakagon and the Namakagon River in Cable, Wisconsin. The home is 100% wheelchair accessible, but all are welcome. This recently built, air-conditioned vacation home features a 100% barrier free, open layout all on one level with DSL/Wireless Internet access. The rental home has a large, fully stocked kitchen, two bathrooms, one wheelchair accessible and includes a roll-in shower. The property is level all the way to the lake. There is a boardwalk for easy access to the dock and a ramp for access to the Sweetwater pontoon boat (available for rent daily/weekly).

The open great room has wonderful lake views and a carpeted living room area with comfortable sofa and loveseat surrounding a stone, gas fireplace. The Cable TV set and DVD player sit above the fireplace. The large, open kitchen with tile floor has a gas stovetop and oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker/grinder, waffle-maker, toaster and refrigerator/freezer. Cozy up to the kitchen counter on a stool or enjoy a meal and conversation at the dining room table or the picnic table in the yard.

Patio doors lead out from the great room into the sunroom which contains a queen adjustable bed and overlooks the lake. Outside the sunroom is a patio with Adirondack chairs. Perennial garden, and gas grill. A mud room entryway with washer/dryer leads to a heated attached garage, where there is ample parking for two vehicles and parking for multiple cars in the driveway.

There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms, sunroom, and living room. All of the bedrooms are off the great room and the beds are wheelchair compatible heights. The master bedroom has an adjustable king sized, bed (20" high), TV, and full accessible bathroom with a roll-in shower. The second bedroom has a full bed (22") and TV and a third bedroom has a trundle bunk bed (20") that sleeps five. The sunroom has an adjustable queen bed and the best views in the house.

In the summer months, enjoy boating, fishing, canoe and kayaking, world class mountain, gravel, and road biking, swimming, hiking, birdwatching, or just relaxing by the lake. The headwaters of the Namakagon River begin right outside your door. You can paddle the serene backwater channel for a few hours or, all the way to the Gulf of Mexico, if you choose. Several kayaks and a canoe are available for your use during your stay at no charge (Including lifejackets and paddles). The pontoon boat is available for rent daily or weekly.

In the winter months enjoy easy access to the snowmobile trails, ice fishing, and the world class, Birkebiener X-C ski and snowshoe trails.
