We are not present in person but I try to get to all messages within 30 minutes at the most, but typically within a few minutes if not instantly. Welcome to laid-back South Austin living. You can hop on I-35 in minutes and explore the city, or stay close for an easy night out. Southpark Meadows is right up the road with 80+ shops and eateries and a central green space for community events, while Mary Moore Searight Park offers miles of trails, tennis courts, and an 18-hole disc golf course. When it’s showtime, head to Moontower Saloon or The Far Out Lounge for cold drinks and live music under the oaks—classic South Austin. Car: Easiest option in this part of South Austin. You’re a quick hop to I-35, Slaughter Ln, and Manchaca Rd. Downtown/SoCo are usually ~15–25 min depending on traffic. Rideshare: Uber/Lyft are readily available day and night. Great for nights out so you don’t worry about parking. Public transit: CapMetro buses run along Manchaca Rd/Slaughter Ln and connect to routes that go north toward downtown. Use the CapMetro Trip Planner for the best stop and timing. Bikes/scooters: Neighborhood is bikeable for short trips. App scooters are hit-or-miss this far south—assume limited availability. Parking On-site: Driveway parking for your cars Street parking: Typically easy and free on this residential street. Please don’t block driveways, mailboxes, or hydrants. Trailers/oversize vehicles: Street width is standard neighborhood size—message us first so we can advise on the best spot. Pro tips Weekend evenings can be busier around nearby venues; rideshare is often faster than circling for a spot. If you’re heading downtown during rush hour, budget extra time or rideshare to avoid parking fees.
